FAQs

Do I need an appointment to bring in my Mac or iPhone for service?

We do not require appointments to drop off your equipment for service. Please note that we do not diagnose / repair while you wait. If you need to spend time to get some basic training on Apple software or to see if a quick fix is possible, please make an appointment at an Apple retail store to see someone at the Genius Bar. If you made an appointment to see us through Apple’s website that is just for dropping off the device for service, not to have it diagnosed at the time of drop off.

How long will the repair take?

Typically, the turnaround time for Mac hardware repairs is between 4 and 5 business days. For iPhone battery and display replacements that we have in stock the turnaround time is 3 – 4 hours. We do not carry inventory of replacement iPhones or AirPods, we can only order replacement parts, but unfortunately cannot exchange a defective item for a new one while you wait.

We do offer expedited service if needed for an additional fee.

Is there anything I need to do before coming in for service?

Please make sure you have your information backed up and Find My Mac or Find My iPhone disabled. If your Mac or iPhone has activation lock enabled, we cannot order parts for your device.
